Product Description
Ascend is a smart knee orthosis designed for pain relief and to improve mobility. The customized, lightweight, and comfortable design reduces burden on the knee and intuitively adjusts support as needed. Ascend provides a non-surgical and safe solution for patients with osteoarthritis, knee instability, and/or weak quadriceps.
Ascend is a one-legged application only. Wearing two Ascends will not work
Each device is custom fabricated to your anatomy to guarantee optimal fit

Experiences knee pain or mobility issues
Weight: 140-265lbs

Functional limitations: those that do not currently rely on a wheelchair

Why should I pre-order Ascend?
Ascend will start shipping in Summer 2022. A $49 pre-order will reserve a device for you. The pre-order deposit is fully refundable if, at any time prior to purchase, you decide that Ascend is not right for you.
How much will Ascend cost to me? Will insurance pay for Ascend?
A Certified Orthotist and an Ascend Patient Advocate will discuss insurance benefits, coverage, and the potential cost to you. We will also work with your insurance provider for approval. Ascend has a reimbursement code recommended by Medicare. Your out-of-pocket cost may vary based on your insurance plan and coverage policy. The MSRP for Ascend is $7000 before any insurance coverage. Financing options are available for qualified customers.
Will I be able to try Ascend before I decide to purchase Ascend?
Yes, you will have a chance to try Ascend before purchasing the device. We recognize that Ascend may not be for everyone. If you have already completed the questionnaire and are not in the San Francisco bay area, you will receive email updates on when Ascend is available for trial near your location.
Will the device be shipped to me?
No. You will be notified when your device is ready for custom fabrication to provide a comfortable and optimal experience. Two visits to an orthotist are required to capture detailed measurements of your leg, followed by fabrication and confirmation that the fabricated device fits properly. Once the fabricated device is fitted to your satisfaction, you will be coached to operate the device. You will then be the proud owner of Ascend.
